I am a Belgian researcher within the Stanford Psychophysiology Laboratory at Stanford University. I have published numerous scientific articles in leading international journals and collaborated with highly regarded experts from America, Europe, and Asia. I won the prestigious Belgian American Educational Foundation Award to conduct research on emotion and emotion regulation at Stanford University.
My primary research focuses on mental health through various lenses including self-compassion and mindfulness.
I have many trainings including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Self-Compassion based practices.
Importantly, I mainly rely on humanistic therapy to support clients in addressing concerns and transitions in relationships and family life, anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma, among other issues.
